After the successful collaboration of Trampelfâd & NaabtalDeath, this duo is expanded to explore the electro-acoustic sound space with the bass clarinetist Ove Volquartz

From a data simulation animation, an approximately 40 second excerpt from a Binary Neutron Star Merger is used to generate a MIDI data string of 16 minutes. This data set is the basis for a number of Granular Sample modulated compositions.

A Databending Composition

The compositional approach is based on the analysis of processes.
The given choreography of the melting of the characters as a process is very short - even the animation which was used must be analyzed greatly slowed down -When transforming this Animation in midi data changes the process and transfer to a digital or analog electronic sound device is an elementary part of the material composition.
It is this relationship or potential in the data that is artistically “researched”.
Sonification is actually “just” artistic transformation .

Overall, it is not an attempt to break down the scientific topic

So it's not a simplification of a complex technology - rather it is a very free "pataphysical alchemy". Complex remains complex - questions do not become answers but only new questions...
